01 "eye of fire" to measure body temperature
Abnormal body temperature is one of the symptoms of patients with new coronal pneumonia. Rapid measurement of body temperature is one of the necessary links in epidemic prevention and control. The infrared lens based on chalcogenide glass developed by China Building Materials General Institute affiliated to China Building Materials Group is the "golden eye" of infrared thermometer. It uses 8 ~ 12 μ m infrared chalcogenide glass with high transmittance as the lens, which can quickly and accurately measure human body temperature. The temperature measurement range is - 20 ℃ to + 120 ℃, and the temperature measurement accuracy reaches ± 0.3 ℃.

02. Large use of special glass
Chalcogenide glass is a kind of special glass material, which is mainly composed of one or several chalcogenide elements s, Se and te. It has high transmittance in the infrared band of 8 ~ 12 μ m, but very low in the visible light band, so it looks black all over the body, so it is called "black technology".
Long wave infrared chalcogenide glass
As the "golden eye" of infrared temperature measurement equipment, the optical system based on chalcogenide glass is used in the front end of the infrared temperature measurement equipment. The infrared energy radiated by the invisible target object is gathered, focused on the photoelectric detector, and converted into the corresponding electrical signal.
